About Me

I am a visual designer located in Sacramento, California. In May of 2019, I graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Chico. I received a BA in Communication Design with an option in Graphic Design and a double minor in Journalism and Gender & Sexuality. ​ After graduation, I spent four months solo traveling through Europe. I visited 29 cities in 11 different countries. Some highlights include spending two weeks learning French in Lyon, paragliding in Interlaken, and hiking the Amalfi Coast.

 

Graphic design has been a longtime passion of mine. I am particularly interested in data visualization. I enjoy finding new and creative ways to display a set of data to users. I have a deep passion for learning new skills and methods of design. ​

 

In my free time, I enjoy exercising. Whether taking a spin class at TeamRide, training for a marathon, or just going for a walk, I spend most afternoons getting some movement in. In addition to that, I also enjoy reading. I have a yearly goal to read 100 books each year. If I'm not doing those things, you can probably find me at the Trade, enjoying a New Orleans-style cold brew.

Event Staff /Graphic Designer August 2016—May 2017

  • Planned events for students living in residence halls, including coordinating services for events such as facilities, catering, and audio-visual equipment

  • Created graphic material to promote events, including social media postings, posters, and additional promotional material

  • Created print and web graphics for various educational and operational departments on the Chico State campus

  • Corresponded with and advised clients on graphic design and multimedia projects from start to finish, including creating conceptual designs, determining format, layout, artwork, photography, paper type and size, colors, ink selections, size and finish, estimating project costs, and coordinating printing and production

  • Collaborated with multiple groups and departments to create the Class of 2019 graduation t-shirt and supporting graphic material
